Fight for Rationality

Holy shit, my AP exam is in five days, I still have to review the French Revolution and make my way onward. I’m going to fail and the rest of my year will be screwed up. I’m going to have to go to summer school and disappoint my family. Who the hell were you kidding? You are too stupid to begin with. What made you think you could take this course? Did you actually think you would succeed? How folly of you. Now your GPA will suffer, you won’t get into college, you won’t accomplish anything in life and will end up living alone with your parents until they die and you have the slight chance of inheriting their estate. Those bullies are right. You aren’t good enough. All those voices in your head? Yeah, they were right too. Congratulations. Now you’re going to grow up, get fat, and live for nothing. Your whole life rides on this one grade. You will fail. The AP board won’t even grade your work because they will be too busy laughing at your doltishness. The world will shun you and your stupidity. They don’t need you. Let’s be honest, the world would be better without you. There is too much to review for your retarded being. Okay, now breathe. Don’t listen to them. You will do the best you can. That’s all anyone asks for, right? I mean, sure, you’re standards won’t accept anything under a perfect score of five. Let’s think about this in a different perspective. It’s one grade. You spent the whole year taking this advanced course. You put in hours and hours of time and effort. It was worth it despite everything. You challenged yourself and the battle is almost over. Take a breath. Close your eyes. You know more than you think you know. Take it one step at a time. It’s a great deal of review, but you have all of it enclosed in your mind thus far. It’s just a matter of remembering everything. Regardless of your grade, you will be granted all the course credits. This doesn’t mean you shouldn’t try, rather, just do all that you can. Work to YOUR full potential. However, do not try to exceed that potential. Remember, your testing skills weaken with over thinking and getting over whelmed. Love yourself, you made it this far. Just remember, time goes on after. Life goes on, your family and friends are so proud of you so far. This won’t change a thing. It’s one grade. If you don’t do as great as you desire, rise above it. You are bigger than one grade. You’ve gone out of your way in asking for guidance with a tutor in this course. Something unheard and off limits of in your world. No one can ask anything more of you. Hush those thoughts. Hush the world. Go in, clear your pessimistic thoughts. Picture a calming landscape. Then visualize European history as though it was a story book. Use your imagination to your advantage. Your strengths shall aid you through your journeys in life. Make your strong aspects your tutor. You are smart, you have all the information. You went through the war, now it’s all about bringing yourself home. Shh, slow down. Don’t work against yourself, rather, work to bring yourself up. We love you.

  1. Good day! I know this is kinda off topic but I was wondering which blog platform are you using for this site? I’m getting sick and tired of WordPress because I’ve had issues with hackers and I’m looking at alternatives for another platform. I would be great if you could point me in the direction of a good platform.
